Choosing Your Words Carefully may Improve Your Health and Wellbeing

Your words create your reality. The kind of words we use to describe our situations and our lives are the way that we perceive our lives to be. Our perception then is the reality. When you say things like something is a disaster or you are suffering from a disease, you are painting a clear picture for yourself and anyone listening that this is just the way it is. Can we, then, change our situations, or at the very least change our perception of a situation, by changing the way we speak about it? That is what positive affirmations are for. Research has shown that a positive outlook and attitude can improve a patient/s chances at overcoming serious medical conditions like cancer and chronic pain. It follows then that a positive mindset can help you overcome your negative beliefs about yourself and your life as well.

Saying that someone is a “pain in the neck” is a good example of using somehow meaningful language. Could saying that mean that literal pain in your neck could manifest? Is someone a “cancer” in your organization or family? By firing them or cutting off communication you could improve the quality of your home or work life, correct?

Choosing your words carefully is something that our mothers taught us as we grew. When you consider the powers of words in terms of doing what you say and saying what you do, you manifest the reality you live by your words and actions. Remember this as you make your way through each day and try to practice positive affirmations that will enrich your life and your soul.

Stop and think about the types of negative words you use to describe yourself on a daily basis. Do you say you “doubt you can”, “wish I could”, “don’t like that”, or are you just afraid? These are the words you can consciously work to replace in your vocabulary to improve your overall state of wellbeing and success. .Take the time to consciously reprogram your thoughts and words to eliminate the negative and replace it with the positive.

Positive words and affirmations are the types of thoughts you want to have floating through your mind and coming out of your mouth. In this way you reprogram your thought patterns and with it your whole life. We fill our lives with the images that we focus on. Focus on love and love will come to you; focus on the bad and you will feel bad, look bad, and your relationships will be bad. This is a simple fact of reality. To master it all you have to do is literally change your mind.

Start each day with positive affirmations such as “today I will be the best and most positive I can be”. Then as you go about your day, you can actually do it. Go out of your way to find the positive in every thought and situation even if you have to say that it was an “opportunity to learn” or a “challenge to be accomplished”. Live happily and speak about it in a positive way. What will at first seem like a tough prospect will soon be second nature to you. No more doom and gloom; only a positive outlook and a positive, happy, well balanced life will be ahead for you.

Is Coffee Bad For Your Health?

Honestly, I have always thought so, until recently. As a person, and business owner, with a firm belief in true health and nutrition, as well as a strong dedication to conducting business in a very ethical manor, I feel confident that this product is one that I can personally stand behind.

After just one week I noticed increased focus, as well as ability to articulate and communicate my thoughts in a much more clear fashion (very important qualities for a hypnosis counselor!). Shockingly, I even noticed drastic improvement in the psoriasis that have plagued my knees and elbows for almost 15 years now. After trying numerous all natural, and western remedies over the last 15 years, I feel confident that my skin will be clean and clear for years to come…

Now, anyone who know me could testify that I am the last person to ever think coffee could be healthy, but here I am, eating, or rather drinking my words!

Below you will find more information about this wonderful product, as well as a link for placing your next order online.

Coffee…The Good News and the Bad News

Coffee has always received mixed reviews from the health community when it comes to determining its effect on the human system. While we know it contains in that popular stimulant caffeine, it also has its fair share of naturally occurring nutrients such as potassium, calcium and super oxide dismutase, more commonly referred to as SOD. SOD has recently earned nutritional kudos as a very good systemic balancer and highly versatile antioxidant known to help eliminate free-radicals from the human body. Recent medical studies have shown that coffee may reduce your risk of colon cancer, and yet another study reinforces the belief that coffee may (slightly) increase your risk of urinary tract infections.

It is also noted that the more freshly made a batch of hot coffee is, the higher the nutrient content. The longer the coffee sits around, the more detrimental it becomes to the human system. So, where any kind of brewed coffee is concerned, drink it immediately after brewing, or not at all.

On the other hand…

cup-of-coffeeFor a long time coffee was thought of as a caffeine-driven stimulant and little more than that. Caffeine is a quick energy “pick-me-up” that has also received much criticism. In some circles, and according to certain studies, caffeine has been blamed for everything from genito-urinary complications to global warming.

Coffee’s often alluded to ill effects on the bladder, kidneys and reproductive system are probably less the fault of caffeine than that other negative coffee constituent…its reputedly high acid content, or what amounts to a low pH.

Much has been made of pH balance in recent years and perhaps rightly so. Without getting too technical, the pH range for any organic element on earth is from zero (0) to fourteen (14), fourteen being extremely alkaline and zero being extremely acidic. The term, pH, refers to the potential for hydrogen. And since hydrogen is one of the principal elements of cellular life, a higher potential for hydrogen (alkaline) would seem to be better, at least to a degree. But “balance” is the operative word here, especially when we refer to the most delicate of all ecologies – the human body. The ideal pH balance for the human body is about 7.5 or slightly alkaline, and ranges of 6.8 to 7.8 pH are considered acceptable, depending upon the time of day. Not surprisingly, most fresh fruits and vegetables and certain herbs contribute to a highly alkaline pH. Meat, pasta, breads, grains, sugars, sweets (and most of the things we enjoy eating) tend to create a highly acid pH. Unfortunately, in the modern high-stress, fast food, high sugar, processed junk diets we have today, most of what we eat drives our systems into the acid pH range.

Several studies now show that people with high acid pH levels are much more prone to get ill. So, what we are facing is a kind of constant juggling that requires an avoidance of certain highly acidic foods. The worst offenders are colas and sodas (at about a 2.8 pH). Anything made with refined sugars is ridiculous, simply because the body cannot even recognize the personality of the food and turns it into acid on contact. Coffee and tea log in at about a 5.0, as do some herbal drinks, wine and certain meats. So, the challenge with the human system is always a balancing act – one that requires it to eat foods that are slanted slightly toward an alkaline pH.

So, the secret in the measure of coffee is the ability to use what is good in it and minimize that which is not. This requires some understanding of it, and what foods you might combine it with.

What Gano Excel has done with Ganocafé!

Obviously then, the ideal coffee would be one that is more closely pH neutral and one that has balance with other nutrients. For that the research scientists at Gano Excel have worked for years to come up with the answer.

ganoderma-branchWhat has now come into a point of remarkable revelation is that blended with certain beneficial foods such as Ganoderma lucidum (red mushrooms in six different presentations) this amazing blend can create a splendid synergy in a truly nutritious coffee. In 1997, Gano Excel created Ganocafé, the first known beverage in the world that combines coffee, the second most consumed drink in the world next to water, with Ganoderma and its more than 200 trace nutrients.

It’s a developmental process that began over 12 years ago and has resulted in the development and marketing of an entire family of wellness products and a completely defined wellness lifestyle. Beginning with a fundamental formulation of Ganoderma-based products that is revolutionizing the concept of wellness as we know it, Gano Excel has also been able to apply that same kind of molecular research to interlink it with the world’s finest blends of coffees. The result is an entire family of products that are as exceptional in taste, touch and aroma and flavor as they are imbued with an exceptional interaction of powerful nutritional components that has become the buzz of the wellness industry – a truly nutritious, “healthier” coffee that is actually better for you than any other coffee on the market today…and holds its own with any gourmet coffee brewed anywhere in the world.

Where is your passion and energy being focused?

People can, and do, become physically addicted to their emotions, just as one would become addicted to heroin. How exactly does this occur? The same “receptor sites” on the cells that accept the neuro-peptides released by the brain when experiencing different emotional states are the one’s used to accept addictive substances. Once you become addicted to the “high” of stress, drama and fighting, you will be unconsciously looking for situations in your life to feed that addiction.

Have you heard of the String Theory? It states that the particles that make up atoms may not be the little “dots” that we once believed them to be. Instead, they are “strings” that vibrate at different frequencies. Just as when you place two pianos in a room, hit a specific note on one, the same note on the other piano will vibrate, this is how the atoms work. So when we are bombarding our bodies with specific neuro-peptides (made up of atoms, made up of vibrating strings) that give us the “high” we are looking for, we are actually physically changing the make-up of our bodies. These strings are then “vibrating” at a specific frequency, attracting people and situations into our lives to feed into that very addiction so our brain will again give us another dose of the “drug” the body is craving.

Ever find yourself experiencing the following:

  • “Destructive emotional states.
  • “Same situations over and over.
  • “Inability to change.
  • “Feeling helpless to create something new.
  • “Deep cravings for certain emotional responses.
  • “Voices [not literal] in the head saying “I want. Give me, give me!”
  • “Saying you’ll never do something ever again, then 3 hours later, doing it.”

(above quote from the book, “What The Bleep Do We Know?!”)

Sounds like addiction to me. I myself have been working through my own emotional addictions since learning all of this. Paying attention to the people and situations that I attract into my life, and using them as a mirror to find what in my life I am doing/feeling to attract these things to me.

There was also a study in Washington DC a few years back on meditation. They got 4000 people together to meditate in the DC area over one summer, claiming that this will lower the violent crime rate by 25%. The local police, at first, stated that it would take two feet of snow that summer to lower the crime rate by that degree. However, by the end, the police dept. was the study’s biggest supporters because that summer the violent crime rate was lowered by 25%. Incidentally, after the study was over, and all those in the meditation study left, the crime rate went back up.

This goes to show that we are all connected on some way. So when many people are focusing their energy into something, be it positive or negative, others are influenced. Think about the state of the economy right now and how many people are focused on how “bad” it is. What are we, as a whole, attracting? This is why it’s important to pay attention to the people and situations you attract into your life. It may be affecting more than just you, and could have long-term effects on the world we leave behind for our children. If you believe in reincarnation, it’s also the world you may be coming back to as well in your next life. If that doesn’t fit into your personal belief system, just pretend it was a joke.

My workshop, the Law of Attraction: Self-Esteem & the Physical Reaction goes into even more detail. Health Revolution – What We All Should Know

“Food isn’t just calories, it’s information. Everything you eat is an instruction manual for your cells.” Robert Roundtree MD

This is very close to my heart. While I have been using natural medicine for almost a decade now, many are still unaware of the benefits in understanding and trusting in the inherent wisdom of our own bodies and that of the natural world.

I personally have used natural medicine and nutrition to heal my body of numerous “diseases” simply by learning what NOT to put into it. This is more than a belief system, as I have learned from my own experience the benefits of understanding the amazing power of nature.

mandy_keilwitz_2_sm“When I made the decision to pursue a healthier lifestyle for myself and my family, I quickly realized it was not very cost effective for a ten-person household to go all natural, so I began investigating new ways of being healthy that would work within our budget, such as growing vegetables in my green house, planting berry bushes, fruit trees, goji berries, vegetable and flower gardens, and most recently creating my own skin care products,” explains Mandy.

MRK Naturals’ salt scrubs, sugar scrubs and lip balms are made in a variety of scents and flavors from eucalyptus to chocolate.  These products are made to order and shipped straight from the Keilwitz farm in the Lower Columbia River Valley of Washington State, to reach you in time for Holiday giving.  You can visit the website to learn more about these products and their maker Mandy at mrknaturlas.weebly.com.
